Expected Completion Year: 2010

Rehabilitation of the Arthur-Branchaud Bridge located on Highway 20 between the cities of Beloeil and Mont-Saint-Hilaire. This four-lane bridge crosses the Richelieu River and Highways 133 and 223. The project involves the replacement of all bridge bearings and expansion joints on the entire bridge and the steel girders of the central span, in addition to other work.

Products and Services
Structal-Bridges

  • Fabrication of 27 steel girders (900 tons) for the central span of the bridge
  • Longest girder: 47.5 m (156 ft.)

Goodco Z-Tech
  • 270 elastomeric pot bearings: fixed (PF), multidirectional (PM) and unidirectional (PMG) models with shoes that fasten to girders
  • 15 HSS-type MTQ expansion joints (465 m/1,526 ft. total)

Highlights of the Project
  • The largest project Goodco Z-Tech has carried our for the Ministère des Transports du Québec.
