The Structal-Bridges web site gets a facelift

The Structal-Bridges web site now has a brand new look. Besides reflecting the image of Canam Group and its business units, the new design was inspired by best practices in web site development. In fact, all Canam Group web sites will undergo a similar facelift in the coming months to improve their effectiveness.

In the bridge sector, current and prospective customers are looking to find reliable manufacturers with an enviable production capacity and an impressive track record. The web site’s new look was achieved in response to these special concerns and with the utmost respect for Structal’s business objectives. Take Structal’s homepage, for example, which now highlights its production capacity and some of its substantial achievements. “The former site didn’t do enough to emphasize our specialty,” admits Robin Lapointe, Structal’s assistant general manager and sales manager. “Now that some of our achievements are pictured on the homepage, anyone who clicks on our web site will know right away that we’re in the business of building major bridges.”

High web visibility
The most attractive web site in the world will go unnoticed if it remains invisible to search engines like Google. So every effort was made to improve the visibility of the Structal web site in search engine listings. Needless to say, the Structal team will be keeping a close eye on the site’s popularity over the next few months.
